Marriage Couples who wish to marry at Holy Saviour need to contact the priest one year before the marriage date. The Diocese of Camden offers pre-Cana programs to help the couple prepare for the sacrament. The presiding priest instructs the couple regarding required documents. Confirmation Catechists prepare candidates over
a two-year period to receive the sacrament. Sessions for parents help
them to understand their role in the Confirmation process. The process
includes a retreat experience for candidates and an evening of reflection
for candidates and their sponsors. Anointing of the Sick Please call the rectory to request that a priest anoint someone who is sick. This can be done before surgery, a lengthy illness, or before death. First Eucharist-First Penance Catechists and parents share responsibility for preparing children to receive these two sacraments. Parents attend sessions to review sacramental preparation material and explain the steps. Baptism Preparation Welcomes, informs, and prepares
parents of children to be baptized. Sessions are held three times
per year. All parents who want their children to be baptized are
required to attend these sessions one time.
