Leadership and Service

ALTAR LINENS
The mission of the Altar Linen Ministry is to provide clean linens for various church services. Volunteers are asked to wash and iron altar linens on a regular basis.

ALTAR SERVERS
The mission of the Altar Servers Ministry is to assist at the altar during Sunday Masses, weddings, funerals and other services. Altar servers come from parish families and are in grades four through high school Contact: Mike Keough 858-0922

CROSSBEARERS
The ministry of the Crossbearers is to lead the Entrance and Recessional Processions at Sunday liturgies. Crossbearers are assigned to carry the cross at one or two masses per month.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
The mission of the Eucharistic Minister is to assist in distributing communion at Mass and in taking communion to those who are ill or confined to home.

GREETERS
The mission of the Greeters Ministry is to provide a feeling of "welcome" by offering a greeting to each parishioner or visitor as they enter the church at Sunday liturgies.

LECTORS
The mission of the Lectors Ministry is to proclaim the scriptures during Sunday liturgies.

LITURGICAL ENHANCEMENT
The mission of the Liturgical Enhancement Ministry is to decorate the church seasonally throughout the year and care for the plants, candles and other needs of the church environment.

MUSIC MINISTRY
The mission of the Adult Choir and Music Ministry is to provide musical leadership and support for various church functions.
The choir practices on Thursday evenings. The Adult Choir leads the singing at the 9:30 AM Mass. Cantors are a group of
experienced soloists, who lead the assembly in sung parts of the liturgy. Children's Choir provides children from third
grade through junior high school the opportunity to develop their musical gifts.

USHERS MINISTRY
The mission of the Ushers Ministry is to maintain a welcoming atmosphere while assisting parishioners and visitors as they assemble for liturgies.
