BAPTISM PREPARATION MINISTRY
The mission of the Baptismal Preparation Ministry is to welcome, inform and prepare parents of children to be baptized. All parents who desire their children to be baptized at Holy Saviour are required to attend these sessions one time. Sessions are held three times per year in October, January and May.

CONFIRMATION
The Catechists prepare the candidates over a two-year period to receive the sacrament. There are sessions for parents to help them to understand their role in the process. A retreat experience for the candidates and an evening of reflection with the candidates and their sponsors is also part of the process.

FIRST EUCHARIST/FIRST PENANCE
The Catechists and parents share responsibility for preparing children to receive these two sacraments. Sessions are scheduled with the parents to review sacramental preparation material and explain the steps.

MARRIAGE
Couples who wish to marry at Holy Saviour need to contact the priest one year before the planned date of their wedding. The Diocese of Camden offers Pre-Cana programs to help couples prepare for the sacrament. The priest presiding at the wedding will tell the couple what documents are necessary.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Please call the rectory to request that a priest anoint someone who is sick. This can be done before surgery, a lengthy illness or prior to death.
